But You Are So Healthy

You do not need another wellness trend. You do not need another protocol, supplement stack, or system promising to optimize your health.

You need to know how stress shows up in the body so you can create the conditions your system needs to regulate, restore, and return to balance.

I help women move out of chronic survival mode through nervous system education and trauma-informed movement practices that restore resilience and bring you back to yourself.

Understand your body through the lens of nervous system science.

Twice each month, I share science-based education on stress physiology, nervous system health, hormones, fascia, recovery, and the everyday patterns that quietly keep us stuck in survival mode.

Each article includes simple practices you can do in real time – movement, breathwork, fascia release, and nervous system regulation tools – so you can begin noticing what your body is communicating and learn how to make small shifts that support healing, resilience, and balance.

When you understand what your body needs, you stop overriding its signals and begin creating the conditions for real health.

The best part? It is completely free.

Helping women move from survival mode into regulation, resilience, and trust in their bodies.

Real healing is not something you add on top of your life. It is what emerges when you begin working with your body’s natural ability to return to balance in a world that often moves against it.

What many women need is a better understanding of the biology underneath how they feel every single day.

Chronic stress changes physiology. It alters hormone function, digestion, metabolism, immune health, sleep quality, inflammation, energy production, emotional resilience, and the body’s overall ability to repair itself. Yet many of us continue living disconnected from these signals, pushing through exhaustion, normalizing anxiety, overriding intuition, and searching for external solutions while ignoring what the body has been communicating all along.

I help women understand what chronic stress is doing beneath the surface and teach science-backed practices that help the nervous system return to balance.

Through nervous system education, trauma-informed movement practices, breathwork, fascia release, somatic awareness, and supportive coaching, I help women create the internal conditions their body needs to regulate, restore, and function the way it was designed to.

Because the body is always seeking balance. It is deeply adaptive, intelligent, and responsive. And when you begin to understand how your body works, you stop fighting it and start working with it. That is where real healing begins.

From there, we can begin to work with awareness and behavior in a more integrated way, gently interrupting and reshaping habitual stress patterns, while introducing small, sustainable micro-habits that support long-term change without relying on force, restriction, or willpower. Over time, this creates greater capacity, steadiness, and resilience in how you move through your life.

As the system shifts out of chronic stress, something very practical begins to change: the space between stimulus and response widens. You are able to pause instead of react. You feel less internally overwhelmed by external demands and more anchored in your own body.

From this regulated baseline, the physiology of the body can return to its natural processes of repair and restoration. Hormones begin to rebalance, sleep becomes more restorative, patterns of tension can soften, and energy becomes more stable and available.

This is not about fixing or optimizing the body. It is about understanding how the system actually works and creating the conditions for it to do what it is designed to do: regulate, adapt, restore, and return to balance.

We’ve been taught to manage stress primarily through cognition;  think differently, override sensations, or push through discomfort. But regulation does not begin in thought. It begins in the body, through the continuous feedback loop between physiology, perception, and lived experience.

Why This Work Is Different

Nearly 70% of vagus nerve communication travels from the body to the brain, which means your nervous system is continuously interpreting information from your breath, posture, movement, and internal sensations to determine whether you are safe or under stress.

In a world that keeps us perpetually “on,” many people are living in a chronic physiological stress state without recognizing it, and this can show up in ways that are often normalized or misunderstood: irritability, overwhelm, poor sleep, difficulty losing weight despite consistent effort, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, or persistent tension and pain.

My approach works from the understanding that the nervous system is always responding intelligently to the signals it receives from the body, and that regulation cannot be achieved by thinking alone.

Through breath, somatic practices, facial unwinding, reflexive core strengthening, and intentional movement, we work directly with the body to release chronic activation so the nervous system can begin to downshift out of survival physiology and return toward a more regulated baseline. When the body begins to feel safe, regulation becomes possible, and from that state, the mind naturally reorganizes around a different internal experience.

Who I Support

My work sits at the intersection of science, physiology, movement, nervous system health, and the deeper understanding that true wellness cannot be achieved when the body is constantly operating in survival mode.

While every woman’s story is different, I focus my work in three areas where nervous system regulation becomes foundational to long-term health and healing.

Cancer Thrivers

Cancer changes the relationship we have with our bodies. Whether in active treatment or survivorship, I support women in rebuilding strength, restoring nervous system regulation, and reconnecting with a sense of safety in the body after diagnosis. Survivorship in particular is often under-supported, with lingering effects like fatigue, pain, reduced mobility, sleep disruption, and nervous system dysregulation continuing long after treatment ends.

Through intentional movement, breathwork, and recovery-focused practices, we work to release chronic “fight-or-flight” tension, rebuild core stability and functional strength, and support circulation, lymphatic flow, immune health, and energy. The goal is not to return to who you were before, but to support who you are now — stronger, more aware, and gradually rebuilding resilience from within.

Fertility, Pregnancy & Postnatal

The journey into motherhood asks tremendous adaptability from the body and nervous system. I help women move through fertility, pregnancy, labor preparation, postpartum recovery, and motherhood with practices that support hormonal balance, emotional resilience, nervous system regulation, and a deeper connection to intuition and internal trust. These practices also build strength and stability to support the body through physical change, help maintain core integrity and support, and can reduce or mitigate pain by improving alignment, load distribution, and overall functional support of the body.

Chronic Stress Recovery

Many women are living in chronic physiological stress patterns without realizing it. Persistent fatigue, burnout, hormonal disruption, inflammation, poor sleep, weight resistance, anxiety, chronic pain, and feeling disconnected from yourself often begin long before symptoms become obvious.

I help women understand how stress physiology affects the body and teach simple, practical ways to restore balance. Through targeted movement, we work with the deeper layers of the body — including small stabilizing muscle fibers — to release common “fight-or-flight” holding patterns in areas like the pelvic floor, quads, hips, and core. This helps rebuild functional, resilient strength while also signaling safety to the nervous system.

Using movement, mindset, and neuroplasticity-informed tools, you learn how to shift out of survival physiology and into regulation, creating sustainable practices that support long-term health, energy, and well-being.

Where Science Meets Soul

My work sits at the intersection of science, lived experience, and embodied healing.

I help women understand how chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, and modern life quietly pull the body out of balance—impacting hormones, fertility, immune function, energy, recovery, and emotional well-being.

I work with all people through many seasons of life, with a focus on transitional periods that are often under-supported and deeply transformative: the matrescence journey, the cancer journey—especially survivorship—and chronic stress recovery. These are seasons where women are often expected to simply endure and adapt, rather than receive the support their bodies truly need.

Through science-backed movement, breathwork, fascia-focused practices, nervous system regulation, and supportive coaching, I teach women how to work with their biology so the body can do what it was designed to do: regulate, restore, and thrive.

This work is built on small, sustainable micro-habit shifts and attainable practices that fit into your real life. You don’t have to overhaul your lifestyle to create meaningful change. When we honor the body as a wise, intuitive, and deeply adaptive system and address the underlying biology instead of simply managing symptoms, we create lasting change by reshaping the brain, building resilience, and restoring trust in the body from the inside out.

HOW I HELP YOU HEAL

Healing is not one-dimensional. It is not only about what you eat or how you think. True healing happens when we support the whole system — physical, emotional, mental, and physiological — and create the conditions for the body to return to balance.

My work weaves together science-backed nervous system education with practical, human tools that help you slow down, tune in, and reconnect with what your body actually needs. We don’t just talk about regulation — we practice it through the body, so it becomes something you can feel and live.

When we work together, I guide you through practices that help you:

  • Rebuild your relationship with your body so you can set boundaries, trust your intuition, and stop overriding your internal signals.
  • Reduce overwhelm and decision fatigue through simple, supportive systems that make daily life feel more manageable and less reactive.
  • Identify and release stress patterns — both obvious and subtle — so you can let go of what is draining your energy, mentally and physically.
  • Regulate your nervous system through breathwork, intentional rest, and awareness practices that help your body feel safe again.
  • Use movement as medicine — including yoga, fascia-focused work, lymphatic support, mobility exercises, and stability training — to release tension, restore circulation, improve alignment, and rebuild resilient strength.
  • Address how chronic stress and modern movement patterns show up in the body as pain, tightness, and instability, using fascial unwinding, mobility work, and nervous system repatterning to release holding patterns in the back, shoulders, hips, knees, and neck, improving functional support, stability, and ease of movement.
  • Support long-term vitality through foundational practices like sleep, light exposure, circadian rhythm alignment, time in nature, and mindful daily movement.

This is not about doing more. It is about working with your body in a way that allows it to do what it is designed to do: regulate, repair, and restore.

Ashley is more than a yoga instructor. She’s a healer who creates a safe, welcoming space for mamas to reconnect with our bodies—right alongside our babies. Her Mom & Baby Postnatal Yoga is a beautiful, powerful experience.

Ashley takes time to listen to each mama’s physical concerns, then offers real solutions by weaving targeted healing elements into the class flow. I almost cried the first time because I felt so nurtured. She’ll even hold a fussy baby!

Camilla

Ashley is such a wonderful yoga instructor. She teaches so much more than just yoga poses. She teaches about self knowledge, wellbeing, body and mental health. She inspires you to slow down in the middle of the chaos of life and reconnect with yourself, not just in class but also in life. I leave her classes feeling relaxed, focused, and empowered. She supports you to listen to your body and respect your limitations but also encourages you to challenge yourself and push your boundaries.

Ashley has been a big part of my motherhood journey. I took her prenatal, postpartum and now toddler and me classes. Her teachings guided me through a healthier and happier pregnancy, and a labor that went just the way I wanted. She now continues to teach, support and inspire me in living a healthy lifestyle, being a better person and a better mother.

I love Ashley’s class because she creates a safe, welcoming space where you can slow down and reconnect with your body, even in the middle of a busy stage of life with young children. The pace of the class is intentional and calming, allowing you to move with awareness rather than rushing through poses. What stands out most is her deep understanding of the body and how everything is connected. She doesn’t just guide movements, she explains them in a way that helps you understand what’s happening and why. She offers thoughtful, practical suggestions to address individual concerns, and I always leave having learned something new.

Ashley’s yoga for healing class has been a transformative tool for me in healing an overtaxed nervous system. Her class is masterfully guided with gentleness and compassion. I am left feeling restored and calm after every class.

Kristina

I first connected with Ashley Stachon when I was just three weeks pregnant, and from that very first conversation, she was incredibly supportive, warm, and reassuring. Starting around my 16th week, I began attending her prenatal yoga classes religiously twice a week and I continued all the way until I gave birth.

Ashley is an amazing and deeply knowledgeable teacher. She is incredibly supportive and attentive she is to every woman in the room, regardless of physical level or where each of us is in our pregnancy journey. We always go around and share what we’re feeling in our bodies as pregnant women, and she thoughtfully sequences each class based on our individual needs.

Throughout my pregnancy, her classes kept me active, and I truly believe that continuing to move – especially during moments when it felt hardest to get off the couch – was one of the best things I could have done for myself. Her classes supported me exactly when I needed it most, both physically and emotionally, and prepared for natural birth.

After I gave birth, I began bringing my son to her mommy-and-me classes, and he absolutely loves it. He gets to explore, play, and interact with other kids in a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment that honors both moms and babies. During class, I can truly relax – even with a baby – because it feels like a beautiful village. If I close my eyes during Savasana, I know Ashley is watching my child, and I also know that other women will naturally step in if needed. There’s so much trust, care, and mutual support.

Ashley is deeply empathetic, intuitive, and exceptionally talented at supporting women through all stages of life. She regularly brings in a variety of workshops to the space, and because she knows so many trusted practitioners, she’s also an amazing resource – whether that means referring you to a physical therapist, a masseuse, or another specialist when something is beyond yoga alone.

She has built an incredible community within the Metta Mama space she leads. Through Ashley and her classes, I’ve met some truly wonderful women, and that sense of connection has been just as meaningful as the movement itself.

I’m so grateful for Ashley, her teaching, and the community she has created. She is truly incredible at what she does.

Chelsea

Ashley hosted a wonderful workshop where we learned all about preparing for childbirth, and addressing our fears surrounding labor and childbirth. The setting was an intimate group where each of us could openly share our story, and I left feeling both empowered and validated. Ashley shared a wealth of knowledge on tools to use during labor that covered breathwork, positioning, movement and mindset. We learned about what to expect for each stage of labor, and which tools are most useful for each stage. She shared tips for a variety of types of birth, so that we can be prepared for whatever is to come. I went into the workshop not realizing some of the fears that I was carrying around birth. Having a dedicated time to write them out and then discuss with the group really eased a lot of my anxieties. Knowledge truly is power. I highly recommend anyone preparing for any type of birth to attend this workshop..”

Teresa

Shift Your Mindset on Labor and Delivery workshop was incredibly transformative! Ashley created such a safe and supportive space, allowing us mamas to openly share our very real fears about labor and delivery. Through her guidance, I was able to reframe many of those anxieties, replacing them with a profound sense of appreciation and wonder for my own body’s amazing capabilities. The practical stretches and movements she taught were invaluable, giving me a clear understanding of how I can naturally support my body through the birthing process. I now feel so much more confident and prepared for this part of my pregnancy journey.

Heather

Ashley was a great guide making the group feel comfortable to share their stories. The workshop (Shift Your Mindset on Labor and Delivery) was a great environment where I learned so much about labor and delivery and tips on how to make the experience better. I myself was able to release my own fears I was struggling with and came out feeling more prepared for my baby’s birth. Ashley is a wealth of knowledge regarding pregnancy, the body, labor, and delivery. I highly recommend her classes!
