I first came to yoga in 2004, drawn in by the challenge of handstands and splits, a natural continuation of my years as a competitive gymnast. At first, movement was something I pursued through effort, discipline, and achievement. But over time, the practice began to reveal something much deeper.
Yoga became less about performance and more about relationships, with breath, sensation, and the internal signals I had been overriding for years. It introduced me to alignment not just in the body, but in how I lived, responded, and recovered.
As my understanding deepened, I began to see a consistent pattern: many physical challenges, including pelvic floor dysfunction, back and hip pain, and neck and shoulder tension, are not isolated structural issues, but expressions of how the body adapts to chronic stress, repetitive movement patterns, and nervous system protection.
This insight shaped the foundation of my work. I began integrating nervous system science, fascia-focused movement, and trauma-informed yoga to help people not only understand their bodies, but change how they feel in them.
My approach supports the release of long-held tension patterns, improves stability and functional strength, and helps restore more efficient, supported movement in the body. Through this work, many people experience a reduction in pain and discomfort as the body reorganizes out of compensation and into balance.
What makes my work unique is the way I integrate formal training, ongoing education, and lived experience. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2012 and have been teaching prenatal yoga since 2017, studying under Kari Marble and deepening my specialization in women’s health and perinatal support. I completed postnatal training with the Prenatal Yoga Center in 2024, alongside additional studies in Embodied Alignment with Michelle Nayeli Bouvier and Restore Your Core methodologies. I am currently completing Yoga4Cancer’s 75-hour oncology yoga training, further deepening my work in survivorship and recovery.
Alongside formal study, I have been a wellness coach since 2012 and have spent over a decade refining my understanding of the nervous system, stress physiology, fascia, and movement through self-study, continued education, and lived experience. This includes the embodied realities of motherhood and a 14-month cancer treatment journey, which profoundly shaped how I understand nervous system regulation, healing, and recovery from the inside out.
Today, I support women through some of the most physiologically demanding seasons of life, cancer recovery, motherhood, fertility, and chronic stress, with practices that rebuild resilience from the inside out. My work bridges science and lived experience, offering a grounded, embodied approach to healing that is both practical and deeply human.
At its core, my work is rooted in a simple truth: the body is always adapting, and when we learn how to listen to it and work with it, it begins to reorganize, release, and return to balance.
